Matcha starter kit good

Got the Matcha Starter Kit. Everything was there. Made my first matcha, it was easy. Good quality tea and tools. No issues with delivery or anything.

Good quality, fast shipping

I ordered the Ceremonial Grade Organic Matcha and a Bamboo Whisk. The ordering process was really smooth on their site. It shipped out quickly and got to me in California in about 6 days, which is pretty good for international. The matcha itself is vibrant green and tastes great, very smooth with no bitterness. The whisk feels sturdy too. I had a quick question about storage, emailed support, and got a reply within a few hours. Solid experience overall.

Decent value on first order

I was looking to try proper matcha without spending too much. I signed up for their newsletter and got 10% off my first order, which I used on the Premium Organic Matcha Green Tea. It made the price much more manageable. Shipping was free too, which always helps. The tea itself is good, not quite as potent as ceremonial but still a big step up from what I had before. For the price I paid, I feel like I got good value for money. Definitely felt worth it for a first-time purchase.

How do these guys compare to Ippodo Tea? I usually buy from them but looking for alternatives.

I Ivy M. 2 months ago
Grace and Green is really good, I'd say comparable to Ippodo for their ceremonial grade. Maybe a bit brighter. Worth trying if you want to switch it up.

I think Grace and Green's ceremonial is just as good, if not better, than Ippodo's entry-level stuff. Their Premium is a solid choice.

What's the deal with their return policy? Is it a hassle if I need to send something back?

J Julia 2 months ago
I haven't had to return anything myself, but I heard from a friend it was pretty straightforward. They usually just ask you to contact them first.

Returns seem standard, just make sure it's unopened and you contact their support. I think it's within a certain number of days too.

I'm looking to buy some matcha but can't decide between ceremonial and culinary. What's the real difference in taste?

M Mike Brooks 2 months ago
Ceremonial is definitely smoother, less bitter, really good for just drinking plain. Culinary is more for lattes, smoothies, baking, that kind of thing where other flavors are involved.

If you're going to drink it straight, get ceremonial. Culinary is fine for mixing but it has a stronger, almost grassy taste by itself.

Can you stack coupon codes on this site? Got a couple I want to use.

S Shane 3 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one at a time. I tried to combine a free shipping code with another one once and it didn't work.

K Kate Hughes 3 months ago
Most places don't let you stack codes anymore. I'd expect only one coupon per order here.

Has anyone used their first order discount? Is it a good percentage off or just a few bucks?

T Tara Walsh 3 months ago
I think it's usually around 10-15%. I got 10% off my first one, made a decent difference on a bigger order.

Yeah, signed up for their newsletter and got a code for 10% off. It's not massive but every bit helps.
